The Evercold Ice is a material. The game states that "It is so cold, frost accumulates instantly wherever it is placed. A component of the world's finest pillows."

Description: Creates a damage-absorbing shield. Shield regenerates if no damage is taken for some time.

The shield regenerates at a rate of 5 per second, but only after 3 seconds of not taking damage, regardless of material count and grade.

Description: Slows enemy movements and attacks on hit.

Enemies hit with an Evercold Ice spell are afflicted with the Slow status effect which reduces their movement and attack speed. On the player, it also decreases the spellcasting rate. Any status effects on enemies and the player will still tick down as normal.

Note that this value is rounded down in UIs.

  • The first Evercold Ice slotted will grant an additional +10% of Slow Strength. Spellpower does not affect this bonus.

  2. Slotting 1 Grade A Evercold Ice onto a spell with 69% more spellpower than normal
  3. Slotting 3 Grade C Evercold Ice onto a base-spellpowered wand
  4. Slotting 2 Grade A Evercold Ice onto a wand with 170% more spellpower than normal
  5. Slotting 1 Grade A Evercold Ice onto a wand with 1583% more spellpower than normal
